Scope of the Workshop
The Second International Workshop is concentrated on the new investigations of the first-order phase transitions and nonlinear phenomena in physics, chemistry and mechanics. The discussed fundamental topics of the Workshop will be of interest for specialists working in these fields as well as for young scientists and students. The tolerance of discussions on the topics below is not constrained.

May 30, 2002 - Deadline date for all participants to submit the registration form, information on the authors and a copy of bank transfer order for registration fee
July 1 - July 5, 2002 - Workshop
Please note that the maximum number of participants of this workshop is limited; early registration is encouraged.
Working program
There are plenary, oral and poster reports every day on the Workshop.
Submission
The authors should submit abstract electronic version (see rules for preparing here) of a 100 up to 500 words by April 30, 2002 to the Organising Committee (paper version is not needed).
One part of papers presented on the Workshop will be published in a complete issue of journal "Inorganic materials" (home page http://www.maik.rssi.ru/journals/inorgmat.htm) and the other part in a complete issue of "Russian journal of physical chemistry" (home page http://www.maik.rssi.ru/cgi-bin/journal.pl?name=physchem&page=main (in English) and http://www.maik.rssi.ru/cgi-bin/list.pl?page=fizkhim (in Russian)).
The final information about publication of Workshop's materials will be available after the end of the Workshop.
