This paper presents a study of propagation of plane waves in an anisotropic
thermoelastic medium with void and two-temperature in the context of three-phase-lag theory
of thermoelasticity. The existence of waves namely, quasi-longitudinal wave (qP1), quasithermal
wave (qP2), quasi-volume fractional wave (qP3) and two quasi-transverse waves (qS1,
qS2) have been found. The different characteristics of waves like phase velocity and attenuation
quality factor are computed numerically and presented graphically in three dimensional space
and a significant void effects have been observed on the different characteristics of the waves.
Some special cases of interest are also deduced from the present investigation.
