Abstract

The main objective of the present work is the experimental and theoretical investigation of the mechanical properties of the zirconium alloys E110 and E635 in a wide range of strain rates (10-4 ÷ 103 c-1) and at different temperatures (20œóŸ350œó). The strain rate and temperature dependencies of deformation diagrams and strength characteristics under tension and compression have been received using the experimental study. The investigated materials have shown sensitivity to strain rate and temperature. Experimental data have been used to identify some LS-DYNA's material models.
