Andrei L. LIKHTARNIKOV

Andrei L. Likhtarnikov born May 4, 1951; received the Diploma degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the St.Petersburg State University (Dept. of Theoretical Cybernetics) in 1973; Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the St.Petersburg State University (Supervisor - Prof. V.A.Yakubovich) in 1977. He recieved the title of Associate Professor in Mathematics in 1982.

Since 1997 he has been the part-time senior researcher of the Laboratory of Complex Systems Control of the Institute for the Problems of Mechanical Engineering, Russian Academy of Sciences.

His research interests are in fields of mathematical control theory, functional analysis, mathematical physics.

Dr. Likhtarnikov has published more than 50 journal and conference papers.
