INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION:

• In 2020 Memorandum of Understanding with University of Helsinki (Finland) and Departmental Convention with Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) were signed.


• In December 2020 the laboratory "Control of Complex Systems" (head Prof. A.L. Fradkov) was granted by a megagrant in the field of mechanics and mechanical engineering. Project theme: theoretical foundations of digitalization of analysis and synthesis of complex mechanical systems, networks and media. Project leader: Emilia Friedman (University of Tel Aviv).


• In September 2020 head of the laboratory of information and control systems of IPMash RAS Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Nikolai Kuznetsov was granted by the title of foreign member of the Academy of Science and Literature of the Republic of Finland.


• In 2020 Prof. S.A. Vakulenko provided an expertise on the project "Research on the evolution and effects of sewerage in biological systems using computer models and proof of evolution theorems "(University of Chicago, USA)


• In February 2020 head of the Department of Mathematical Methods in Mechanics of Materials and Structures Prof. A.B. Freidin will give a series of lectures for students and postgraduate students for the Laboratoire de Mecanique des Solides, Centre National de la Recherche Scientific, Ecole Polytechnique, Paris. Subject of the lectures: "Introduction to mechanics of moving interfaces: stress-induced phase transformations and stress-affected chemical reactions".
  On February 6, 2020 at 14.00 there will be a seminar, where A.B. Freidin will make a presentation "Propagation, blocking and stability of stress-affected chemical reaction fronts in solids".


• In December 2019 head of the Department of Mathematical Methods in Mechanics of Materials and Structures Prof. A.B. Freidin in the framework of the programm of invitattion of outstanding scientists delivered lectures on fracture mechanics in Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture - BUCEA. The Memorandum of Understanding between IPME RAS and BUCEA is in progress.
  
   
• In November 2019 Memorandum of Understanding between IPME RAS and Technische University of Berlin (Germany) was signed.
