- In 1958 graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute named after M. I. Kalinin, specialty "Dynamics and Strength of Machines";
- In 1966 defended dissertation for the academic degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences;
- In 1971 received the academic title of Senior Researcher in the specialty "Dynamics, Strength of Machines, Instruments and Equipment."
Work:
- From 1958 to 1966 - Junior Researcher, then Senior Researcher at the Laboratory for Orientation and Stabilization of Artificial Earth Satellites, Institute of Electromechanics, Academy of Sciences of the USSR;
- From 1966 to the present - Senior Researcher, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department "Mechanics and Control Processes", Faculty of Physics and Mechanics, Leningrad Polytechnic Institute named after M. I. Kalinin (now the Higher School of Mechanics and Control Processes, Institute of Physics and Mechanics, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University);
- From 2014 to the present - Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Mechatronics, Institute for Problems in Mechanical Engineering, Russian Academy of Sciences.
