Sheinerman A.G. - Leading Researcher - Laboratory of Nanomaterials Mechanics and Theory of Defects
In 1993 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum 239, and in 1999 from the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg State Technical University. In the same year, he entered postgraduate school at the Institute of Problems in Mechanical Engineering of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and in 2002 he got the PhD degree in mechanics and physics. In 2009 he got the Dr. Sci. degree in the same specialities. From 2002 to the present, he has worked at the Institute of Problems in Mechanical Engineering of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the positions ranging from the junior to the leading researcher. From 2013 to 2021, he worked as a leading and then chief researcher in the laboratory of the mechanics of advanced bulk nanomaterials for innovative engineering applications at St. Petersburg State University. From 2014 to the present, he has been working in the laboratory for the Mechanics of New Nanomaterials of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University as a leading researcher, then chief researcher, and head of the laboratory.
