An employee of IPMash RAS held a creative meeting with St. Petersburg schoolchildren
On February 10, as part of the Science Week, for the charity-girls of the 7th study course of the St. Petersburg Boarding School a creative meeting was held with Vyacheslav Gennadievich Kuznetsov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Material Surface Modification, Chief Researcher of IPMash RAS, the winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology, the winner of the D.K. Chernov Prize of the Government of St. Petersburg in the field of materials science.
During the meeting, Vyacheslav Gennadievich shared his experience and knowledge with the students of the military school. The scientist told the students about his inventions in the field of ion plasma technologies and other developments in demand by the domestic industry, how these technologies affect everyday life, and what prospects open up for young scientists.
