IPMash RAS took part in the 2nd Congress of Young Scientists
On December 1 – 3, on the territory of the Sirius Science and Art Park (Sirius town settlement), the 2nd Congress of Young Scientists was held which was one of the key events of 2022 within the frames of The Decade of Science and Technology. Our Institute participated in this event once again, now represented by Kseniya Frolova (the junior research scientist of the Applied Research Laboratory) and Anastasiya Chevrichkina (the junior research scientist of the Material Micromechanics Laboratory).

The Congress became one of the most outstanding scientific events in 2022, it was attended by more than 4000 experts from 44 countries, including the representatives of RAS Institutes and of the higher education establishments from different Russian regions.
The business program of the Congress included round tables devoted to the current scientific and scientific-organizational problems, expert sessions (with participation of the key persons of the institutions, the higher education establishments, the RAS institutes and the corporations), plenary lectures on advanced developments delivered by the leading scientists. The exhibition of the science and technology achievements took place.
During the Congress the following topics were brought up and discussed: the main tasks of RSF (Russian Scientific Foundation) today, international scientific cooperation, popularization of science in Russian society, challenges and priorities in science and technological development. In particular, emphasized was evaluation of opportunities of personalized medicine and analysis of influence of neurotechnologies on our nearest future.

The Congress of Young Scientists is a good opportunity to get acquainted with modern trends and specific problems in various scientific areas, to ask questions about prospects of bio-compatible materials in up-to-date industry, about the role of sound for artificial intelligence development, etc. It is a chance to understand, in which direction one should go in order to keep up with the times. And, of course, a chance to make the acquaintance with the colleagues from the other scientific areas and to discuss the possibilities of joint projects.
