• Dynamics of a rigid body: dynamics of a centrifuge on an elastic rod, the problem of the movement of a Celtic stone.
• Construction of a graphite crystal lattice model and study of its mechanical properties. Discrete and continuous approach.

Education and qualifications:
- Graduated with honors from the Leningrad State University with a degree in Mechanics (LSU, Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics).
- From 1988 to 1991 – postgraduate studies at Leningrad State University with a degree in Theory of Elasticity.
- Since 2000 – Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, majoring in Mechanics of Deformable Solids.
Work:
- From 1992 to 2001 – assistant at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics at St. Petersburg State Technical University.
- From 2001 to the present – researcher, then senior researcher at the laboratory of «Mechatronics» IPME RAS.
Scientific activity:
- Scientific experience – 34 years.
- Author of over 75 scientific papers.
