On April 14, 2024, a chess tournament was held as a part of the Science and Technology Cup of the VI-th season of the International Online Chess League.

The team from IPMash RAS was represented by:

Sergey Augustovich Vakulenko, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, leading researcher, Andrey Viktorovich Osipov, the team captain, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Chief Researcher, Pavel Andreevich Osipov, the legionnaire, and Nikita Sergeevich Kolesnik, the graduate student, intern researcher.

During the chess match of 84 teams, the IPMash RAS team took the third place in the division of the Russian Academy of Sciences and reached the final of the VI-th season.
