IPMash RAS participated in the conference of the leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation on mathematical theory of control
The scientists from IPMash RAS participated in the conference «Mathematical Theory of Control and its Applications», held in June at Sirius University of Science and Technology (Sochi).
The conference was organized by the representatives of the Russia's leading scientific schools in mathematical theory of control:
Alexey Davydov, Corresponding member of RAS, Moscow State University, Moscow;
Nikolay Lukoyanov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the N.N. Krasovsky Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of RAS Ural Branch and Professor of Ural Federal University, Yekaterinburg;
Ivan Mamaev, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, IzhSTU, Izhevsk;
Yuri Sachkov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, RAS Institute of Software Systems & MSU (Moscow State University) & RUDN (Peoples' Friendship University of Russia) Moscow, Pereslavl;
Alexander Fradkov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, IPMash RAS & St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg.
The Russian School of mathematical theory of control occupies a leading global position since the work of the schools of L. S. Pontryagin, N. N. Krasovsky, V. A. Yakubovich, A.F. Filippov.
Recent years have demonstrated its bright new achievements in such areas as the Hamilton-Jacobi equation formalism for functional differential systems, optimal control problems on an infinite horizon, geometric control theory, Subrimanov, Sublorentsev and Subfinsler geometries,
theory of stability and stabilization of nonlinear non-stationary systems, nonlinear dynamic and controlled systems in modern engineering problems. The results obtained are applicable to problems of classical and quantum mechanics, robotics, vision models, economics, and artificial intelligence systems. The conference was aimed at discussing new results and developing links between various branches of the Russian school of control theory and its applications.
About 40 specialists took part in it. Along with well-known experts, talented young scientists from the regions of Russia participated.
IPMash RAS was represented by:
Alexander Yuryevich Alexandrov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics (St. Petersburg State University — IPMash RAS) – Lyapunov-Krasovsky complete type functionals for nonlinear systems with delay;
