The International Conference European Solid Mechanics Conference, which took place this year in Lyon, is one of the most representative conferences on the mechanics of deformable solids. The conference was attended by more than 1300 scientists from different countries, including employees of our institute: A.B. «Chemo-mechanical Coupling Problems in Mechanics of Solids» and P.K. Kabanova, Junior Research Scientist of the same Laboratory, with a poster presentation «On the Localization of a New Phase Domain in the Vicinity of a Crack», which was recognized as one of the three best poster presentations by young scientists.
